From Unlock Innovation to Peppr

Unlock Innovation Ltd began with a simple question: what capability are organisations overlooking in the people they already employ?

Our work exploring dyslexic thinking in the workplace has shown us that different ways of thinking can be an important source of creativity, problem solving and innovation. Through our research, workshops, partnerships and work with organisations, we have also learned that awareness is only the beginning. The bigger opportunity is helping organisations turn that understanding into everyday practice.

Peppr is the next stage of that journey.

Peppr takes the knowledge, research and practical experience developed through Unlock Innovation and turns it into something that can reach more people, more teams and more organisations.

Our ambition is to help organisations create workplaces where different ways of thinking are recognised, supported and their contribution to innovation valued. Peppr will provide practical tools, learning and ongoing support that help leaders understand the capability already within their teams and create the conditions for it to flourish.

For the partners and supporters who have helped Unlock Innovation reach this point, Peppr is not leaving that work behind. It is how we take it further.

From Unlock Innovation to Peppr: The Next Chapter

When we started Unlock Innovation Ltd, we began with a belief that has stayed at the heart of everything we do: there is extraordinary capability already sitting within our organisations that too often goes unrecognised.

Our initial focus was dyslexic thinking. Through research, workshops and conversations with organisations and their people, we have seen how different ways of thinking can contribute to creativity, problem solving, adaptability and innovation.

Many of you have been part of that journey. You have opened doors, shared experiences, challenged our thinking, introduced us to others and trusted us to work with your people. That support has helped Unlock Innovation move from an idea into something with the potential to create meaningful change.

It has also taught us something important.

Awareness is not enough.

A workshop can start a conversation, but lasting change happens when that understanding becomes part of everyday working life. If organisations want people who think differently to contribute at their best, they need practical ways to create the right conditions around them.

This is where Peppr comes in.

Peppr is the next stage of the Unlock Innovation journey.

It is being developed as a practical platform that organisations can use to better understand, recognise and harness the different thinking already within their teams.

Rather than relying on a one-off workshop, Peppr will provide ongoing access to learning, practical resources and tools that leaders and teams can use in their everyday work. It will help organisations explore areas such as communication, meetings, team dynamics, problem solving and innovation through the lens of how differently people think.

Over time, Peppr will also help organisations gain greater insight into their own working environments and identify where existing systems and practices may be helping people contribute, or unintentionally getting in their way.

The goal is simple: to turn understanding into action.

How can businesses be involved?

We don't want to build Peppr in isolation.

We are looking for businesses willing to become part of its development by working alongside us. This could include testing early versions of Peppr, involving teams and leaders, providing feedback on what is useful and what isn't, and helping us understand the real challenges organisations face.

Participating businesses will have the opportunity to help shape a platform designed around real workplaces rather than assumptions about what workplaces need.

For some organisations, participation may begin with a conversation or workshop. For others, it could mean becoming an early Peppr organisation and working with us more closely as the platform develops.

Our ambition is to create something that can eventually reach far beyond what Unlock Innovation could achieve through workshops alone, while retaining the human understanding and practical experience that started this journey.

Unlock Innovation helped us uncover the opportunity. Peppr is how we intend to put that understanding to work, at scale.
