Although Unlock Innovation is in its infancy, I have been thinking about the future.
Imagining something we cannot yet see is a dyslexic strength.
The question I have been asking myself is, the what’s next for the newly minted, truly diverse teams we are helping our clients create.
Our proposition, to increase innovation practices in organisations by bringing together different thinking styles, has raised the question – what follows?
One of the many definitions of the word innovation might give us a clue.
‘Innovation is defined as the process of bringing about new ideas, methods, products, services, or solutions that have a significant positive impact and value. It involves transforming creative concepts into tangible outcomes that improve efficiency, and effectiveness, or address unmet needs.’
Over the break I have been preparing to write a downloadable booklet with the interim title Designing for the 21st Century. For those organisations whose very existence will come to depend on addressing the unmet needs of humans, genuine care for environmental impact and providing sustainable work for people, as well as feeding into the tax system.
Over the next few weeks, we will offer some insights into our process.
